Bill Cosby’s defense attorney has called the s*xual assault charges brought against the humorist “politically motivated”.
Monique Pressley told the media that the prosecutor in the case is not looking for equity, but rather following through on a crusade promise.
More than 50 ladies have blamed Mr Bill Cosby for employing them with medications and alcohol and afterward physically ambushing them.
On Wednesday, he was charged criminally without precedent for Pennsylvania.
Mr Bill Cosby has over and over denied the assertions against him, saying the physical relations with the ladies was consensual.
The allegations compass decades, and most of the cases can’t be attempted in court on the grounds that an excessive amount of time has passed.
In the Pennsylvania case, Mr Bill Cosby is accused of physically ambushing Temple University worker Andrea Constand in 2004 at his home close Philadelphia. The charges were recorded one day before the lawful due date.
Prosecutor Kevin Steele was chosen in November. He crusaded against previous prosecutor Bruce Castor, who had declined to bring charges against Mr Cosby when Ms Constand initially reported the assault in 2005.

That decision turned into a noteworthy issue in the crusade and the subject of commercials. However, Mr Steele never said freely how he would handle the case.
On Wednesday, Mr Steele said his office had revived the Constand case after new data became known.
