On Sunday, January 3, 2016, few pioneers in the music industry have visited Amakye Dede who is Highlife Singer, at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital, in Accra.
The designation was comprised of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) President-Bice Osei Kuffour otherwise known as Obour, Kojo Antwi Chairman of Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), Bandex, Music and Movie Producer, Highlife Musician Rex Omar, veteran Highlife Singer Obuoba J.A. Adofo along with others.
In the wake of seeing the “Seeerious” man who is as yet managing the wounds maintained from the mischance and the appalling demise of his Isaac Yeboah, Manager, Amakye is recouping slowly, the designation have uncovered.
Obour, MUSIGA President shared this on online networking that I have visited Amakye Dede with different Giants in the Music Industry. He is getting better with the passage of time. We express gratitude toward God in all things we give him acclaim. Without any doubt, He knows best”.
Amakye Dede, Incredible highlife music artist, runs away from death this Saturday morning on 2nd of December, 2015 when he was in a car with his manager and bodyguard. They encounter car accident, that fatal accident kills manager at the spot.
Isaac Yeboah, the manager has been the Editor for Ghana’s famous daily newspaper , P&P for a long time, and he was a habitual patron to a few showbiz radio projects in Ghana, including Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review”.
Reports said that the shocking accident occurred at Bonsu Junction, a couple meters far from Paradise resort. A vehicle is said to have collided and crashed with a stopped car Amakye Dede, his Manager and bodyguard were in the car, Manager died on the spot and the remaining two are still sustaining with many wounds.
Right now, Amakye Dede and his bodyguard are at a hospital under proper medication.
