It takes significance to be noticeable. Any quality found among many needs dissimilarities to be referred as special. It doesn’t come easy in today’s world of raring competition in all fields of life.
Considering Ghana’s music industry, it can undoubtedly be said that an artist needs extra hard work to enter the limelight. The industry is such resilient that no one can dig through it to find and reveal the talents stuck underground. The competition is crazy. The struggle is hard and getting a place in the limelight is never easy.
In 2015, a young, versatile boy named CJbiggerman shot himself into the limelight by maintaining his energy and delicacy. Foreseeing that his days of stardom are nothing, he is in fact, making his place in Ghana’s rap music.
With the mixtape album titled IRED, he has come so far to attain the status of an unsung hero today. The album with 20 songs gave him success which was followed by “Food Bombers” and “King Kong” with other hits.
Before participating in the season 4 of the famous TV reality show, MTN Hitmaker he had been performing at different events. He had a tough time in the show, but his exclusiveness helped him stay in the competition till the grand finale.
The Ghanaian music industry saw the strength of impression CJ made on the stage of Hitmaker. Later in the year he released hits: ‘Lebooboo’ and ‘God Bless’ with other freestyles.
Moving forward, he released collaboration with Harmaboy and Pappy Kojo, a single titled ‘3 Years’ that makes listeners groove. The song pictures his quest to take on the music industry within 3 years. The musician has long term plans for a successful career in the Ghanaian music industry and this came out as the collaboration with Pappy Kojo and Harmaboi.
