Applications for 2016 edition of OneBeat have been announced.
In a post shared through Facebook, The US Embassy Ghana announced the news that musicians aged 19 to 35 years were eligible to apply in the 2016 edition of OneBeat.
Except the age restrictions, musicians from any background, having musical training or not, are welcomed to apply. OneBeat also encourages music of all genres.
OneBeat, in collaboration with the groundbreaking New York-based music organization Bang on a Can’s Found Sound Nation, is a project of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. OneBeat is a musical exchange where talented musicians from all around the world work on collaborations, done solely on the purpose of making a positive impression on local and global communities.
