The Textile industries of state owned have faced tough competition from local textile industrialists. Companies who got best quality are valued in Ghana, and those who are not producing good quality material are not valued.
The local people are also working in the manufacturing of Batik means “Wax Written” which became famous in the late 1970s and Tie-Dye styles. The manufacture of Batik is attractive and mostly the customers like Batik artists to use designs and images that are communicative in nature. The manufacturing of Batik is labor demanding, therefore it gives employment for a lot of people, mostly females.
Batik’s production and sale is getting fame, because internationally its stunning designs have jammed the heart of designers. Industries like Della in Los Angeles, California in US have adopted Batik Fabric for western style bags, purses and even shoes.
Eventually in the development of Ghana’s economy, fashion industry has played a major role. Textile producing dresses in Ghana have seen a corrosion of their establishment by the huge importation of low-priced and poorer textiles in the market, and this is just to disturb the traditional ladder of the local textiles, and influenced the excellence of the material manufactured now a days.
Textiles comprise a main and blooming art, which attains more stuff than just given clothing, by improving communication through expressions, describing social status and rousing artists work in the media.
