A Plus and Akosua became parent of baby girl

The popular musician, Kwame A Plus and actress cum host, Akosua Bannerman Quaye became parent of cute baby girl.

The news of Akosua’s pregnancy hit the airwaves months back. But none of them came out to either confirm or deny the rumors, perhaps to keep their privacy intact.

Bloggers and the media, however, kept hammering on the rumors especially when Akosua flew out of the country months ago. The rumors however heightened when Akosua stopped posting full-length photos of her on her social media handles.

It has however been confirmed that Akosua has finally put to bed.

‘FINALLY I can let the cat out of the bag. On April 17th, 2018, our dear little one was born unto us. Such joy it has been. You look like a million bucks. Yummy mummy.’

Trigmatic

The expert musician, Enoch Nana Yaw Oduro- Agyei better known as Trigmatic stated that he is making a lot of money.

After announcing plans of his rebranding, which he says forms an integral part of his career as an entertainer, he has been missing from the spotlight for a while now and mainstream media hardly speak about him.

The radio presenter posted on his Facebook Timeline in January, to announce the fading out of his Trigmatic brand and a hint of his new brand ‘TIYUMBA’, meaning ‘Let love them.

Apparently, it appears his new identity is working for him; because he’s now broken boundaries, attract new followers and to top it all, he is making serious money from his new brand.

According to the versatile artiste, he’s been playing several corporate shows at least one every week, which has kept him busy and although much noise or publicity is not made on such programs, it pays.’

‘I mean there is no festival that I’ve been to and not been paid for, for instance the last collaboration which is just last year, it was good, and I went with nine people, so it doesn’t make you popular.’

He however, admits that, the path he has embarked on does not make one popular as most of such shows are private and not publicized.

He mentioned some notable shows he’s played, which includes, the SWAG awards, the presidential balls among others.

Nukre

The rising musician, Nukre encourages king of dancehall, Shatta Wale to raise his voice against Tramadol.

Nukre, previously known as Shatta Zola, has expressed surprise at the silence of the ‘Gringo’ hit maker on the practice.

According to him, most of Shatta Wale’s fans are in the youth bracket and have the tendency to fall for the practice. He said currently, Shatta Wale has a lot of influence on people on the streets and the ghetto youth than any other celebrity, so must use his influence judiciously.

‘I’m disappointed in Shatta Wale for sleeping when Tramadol is destroying the lives of many in the ghettos. People living in the ghettos especially the youth, look up to him. Shatta stands as the father of the ghettos and this is the time the youth needs him.’

He added that if Shatta could call on government to wake up in developing this country and making it a beautiful place then he also needs to wake up in the fight against drugs.

He said there is lot of issues affecting the youth that Shatta Wale can help in addressing but he rather takes interest in things that do not yield positive impact on the people.

Ghanaian showbiz personalities like VVIP, Nana Aba Anamoah, Nana Ama McBrown, Majid Michel, Prince David Osei, O’Bkay have all condemned the act.

Stonebwoy, Becca and Appiah spends quality time with T.I

The super star of Ghanaian glamour industry, Stonebwoy, Becca and Nana Appiah Mensah spends quality time with internationally celebrated musician, T.I.

Rumors making rounds indicate that Stonebwoy is currently working on a song with the American rap star. Per our checks, the two met at the just ended Awards event which came off at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, USA.

But then, it’s obvious their meeting will give birth to a collaboration taking into consideration the presence of Zylofon Media CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah who was spotted in their midst.

Don’t forget that Menzgold which is owned by Nana Appiah Mensah is also a sponsor of the BET Awards hence their presence at the awards ceremony.

More importantly, a collaboration between the two musicians would not just take Stonebwoy to the world market but also pave way for other local artistes to work with US artistes especially Shatta Wale who’s signed on to Zylofon Media.

Kuami Eugene

The rising musician, Kuami Eugene stated that he is not going to record dis song for fellow musician, Patapaa.

He is of the opinion it is not necessary to spend time to go through the process of music production all to get back at someone.

‘If I will record a song, it will be to wish Patapaa well. I don’t think I have the time to write and produce a dis song for another artiste.’

It is very unlikely singer Kuami Eugene and rapper Patapa would ever collaborate on a song. Reason because the latter’s songs are noisy, says the former. The ‘One Corner’ act reached out because he wanted them to work together on song a while back.

Lynx Entertainment artiste, Kuami Eugene has apologized for saying that Patapaa does only noisy songs. The former claims the statement was made in jest, and signifies the close relationship between himself and the latter. A video posted on his official Twitter account finds him apologizing to the ‘One Corner’ artiste and everyone who was offended by the statement.

Patapaa’s response to Kuami Eugene saying he only does noisy songs is a profanity-laden dis track. The former lets the world in on a secret he has kept to himself for a while – Eugene farted continuously during a pre-Ghana Meets Naija event.

Ghanaian well-known actress and Fashionista, Moesha Boduong

The controversial actress cum model, Moesha Buodong opened the list of qualities which she consider necessary for dating any man.

According to Moesha, she once dated a broke guy but he didn’t treat her well. The guy was a cheat; therefore, she learnt her lessons after their breakup.

‘My first boyfriend was a man without cash and we were struggling together but he cheated on me severally and got my heart broken. After such experience, I vowed never to date a broke guy.’

The model stated categorically that she’s not a gold digger as Ghanaians have perceived perhaps because of her CNN interview. In the voice of Moesha, a man must have a personal car before she can make moves with him and that’s the golden rule.

‘I can’t date a man without a car, a man with at least a Corolla or a Hyundai isn’t bad for a guy who wants to date me.’

Delay

The ruler of airwaves on Sunday evenings, Deloris Frimpong Manso better known as Delay clarified that she doesn’t force anyone to say things they don’t want to say on her show.

With her interviewing skills, which sometimes borders on the abrasive, she is able to get her guests to spill their guts even when they don’t want to.

While some may applaud her for getting the information out of her guests unlike other hosts, there are some who think she is too brutish with her questions. Others feel her guests are bullied and even ridiculed on her show.

Celebs such as Joyce Blessing, Kurl Songx, Mzbel and Vicky Zugah have accused Delay of being on a mission to destroy their brands when they appeared on her show. But Delay tells Showbiz her show is never intended to defame personalities.

‘I don’t force anyone to say things they don’t want to say on my show. The Delay Show is a talk show where I allow my guests to free their minds. My guests have the liberty to answer the questions posed to them and if they are not comfortable, no one pushes them to answer.’

In her recent interview with actress, Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapim Polo, people were unhappy with Delay’s line of questions with some of the opinion that she took revenge on the actress who had previously insulted her (Delay) but Delay said she just asked legitimate questions.

‘Any good presenter would ask questions any ordinary Ghanaian wants to know. Rosemond Brown said that I wanted to use her to be popular and I asked her if I needed her to be popular? That is a question any good presenter would ask. Or?’

According to her, she has on several occasions asked her guests before the show starts to let her know what they are and not comfortable with.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Zylofon Cash, Halifax Ansah Addo, he confirmed the death of two (2) of Zylofon Cash staff who had gone to Tamale to support a concert organized by Fancy Gadam, with their brand.

We are in deep pain and shock as we express our condolence to the families of all persons who lost their lives during the accident that occurred in Tamale Friday evening.

A cargo truck veered off its lane and drove straight into our convoy. It crashed into one of our vehicles and several motorbikes in the process.

Doctors from the Tamale Teaching Hospital have confirmed that two of our staff members were unable to survive.

There are other casualties and injuries involving the bikers. We are in grief and we plead that the continuous sharing of photos of the deceased persons in the condition they were after the accident is unethical and increasing our agony.

We are cooperating with the Police Service in Tamale as investigations continue. Zylofon Cash is exceptionally grateful to all persons across Ghana and beyond who have called to express their condolence, support and solidarity in many ways from Friday dusk. We plead for calm as we remain united in grief.

Shaida Buari

The winner of Miss Ghana 2002, Shaida Buari Nubi stated that she will soon join journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas to expose men’s harassment in glamour industry.

The sister of actress Nadia Buari in reaction to men who incessantly pressure women for s*x, said she has once been a victim of such act when she contested for the crown in 2002.

According to her, when she emerged winner of the beauty pageant in 2002, she never had it easy. Shaida said that it took the intervention of God for her to skip the net of men who wanted her on their beds.

‘I came across a lot of men who said if you want to get sponsored, let me sleep with you. The s*x-for-favor phenomenon abounds. Till today, even within the oil and gas industry [where she works] it’s prevalent.’

The sleek queen who repeatedly professed her Christian faith, on the show, indicated that:

‘It all boils down to morality. Thankfully, I can beat my chest that I never allowed myself to be used by any man. No man had sex with me in the name of Miss Ghana.’

Shaida Buari’s revelation corroborates what in recent times, former beauty queens of the Miss Ghana pageant have disclosed about the disturbing experiences they were allegedly made to go through by organizers.

The beauty queens have complained of assaults, abuses, exploits and how they are pimped out to preying men, in return for sponsorship deals and monies.
