The supermodel, Menaye Donkor released picture with her parents and she is looking gorgeous in new picture.

The beauty queen, who is the wife of Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari, is currently the Director of Miss Universe Ghana. Over the weekend, Menaye was present as the pageantry was launched and promoted in Accra.

However, despite appearing in her usually stunning fashion, it was the presence of her parents that caught the eyes of many. The model graced the event with her mother and father, opting to take a photo with the two on the red carpet.

Once the photo popped up on social media, many Ghanaians could not keep their typing pads to themselves and decided to give various comments praising Menaye and her family.

Menaye got married to Sulley Muntari in 2010 and the couple are blessed with a boy, who they named Jamal. Menaye Donkor is a Canadian-born Ghanaian businesswoman, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and former beauty queen who was named Miss Universe Ghana 2004, and represented Ghana in Miss Universe 2004.

The rising actor, Yaw Adu revealed that many people slapped him because of his physical appearance.

Taking his turn on the Delay Show, Sumsum disclosed that he was slapped by an inhabitant in his hometown after he begged for money from the man. He claimed that the man gave him a look of disgust and slapped him.

According to him, he had to beg and sell “polythene bag” at a very tender age for his family to survive due to the high level of poverty at the time.

Sunsum disclosed despite going through all the abuse in his village in Brong-Ahafo, the man who slapped him because of his “Horrible” face called him some weeks ago, requesting that he (Sunsum) escorts him to a deceased mother’s funeral.

‘There was a time that I begged for alms from a guy and he slapped me because of how I looked. It happened in my hometown. But some few weeks ago, he called me to ask me to escort him to his dead mother’s funeral.’ 

The Kumawood actor said that his childhood was characterized by discrimination and hatred by people due to his rather bulgy eyes, a look he claims he inherited from his mother and grandmother.

Self-proclaimed king of dancehall, Shatta Wale and songstress, Efya hinted collaboration.

The award-winning dancehall artist agreed to “do something” with songstress Efya when she relished in the idea on twitter in a tweet.

Collaboration between the two artistes would be nothing short of a pleasant surprise characterized by a mixture of their unique styles blended on a beat to serve their starving fans.

Reactions from both camps on twitter suggested that the idea is not one they both haven’t considered with Efya tweeting that “Well that is something I am looking forward to very soon,” mentioning Shatta Wale and ending with a friendly wink emoji.

In response, the self -dancehall king subtweeted the songstress with a positive “mek we do something soon” with two blazing fire emoji.

Fans can only assume that this is the first step towards a studio session that will birth the magic on beat everybody is anticipating.

Both artistes have amassed success in their separate genres with Efya accruing close to and Shatta Wale releasing over fifty songs every year and free styling his way through almost every studio session.

The controversial actress cum model, Andrea Owusu better known as Efia Odo dare popular presenter Deloris Frimpong Manso, Delay to show her man.

Efia Odo yesterday came out to angrily lash out at Delay for involving herself in her relationship. The actress, 25, did not take kindly to suggestions by the Delay Show host to keep her relationship on the low because the guy she was dating now had massive flaws and could make her relationship go south soon.

The rising actor, Yaw Adu better known as Sumsum stated that he will ignore Van Vicker if he ever saw him in future.

Sumsum stars in Twi speaking movies and is known for playing scary fetish and wizardry roles, whereas Van stars in English speaking movies and well known for playing romantic roles. Both actors are good at what they do.

Sumsum made this disclosure in a recent interview on the Delay show. He recounted how he met Van in Accra and extended a handshake to him but he rather gave him a fist.

‘I met my fellow star Van Vicker and I extended my hand for a handshake but he gave me a fist instead, from the way he behaved towards me, I realized he deliberately didn’t want to shake my hand and socialize with me. I have a problem with him now; I will also ignore him if he sees me in future and approaches me.’

He further accused the English speaking actors and actresses for discriminating against the Kumawood actors because they speak Twi.

He said:

‘I’ve realized that the Accra actors see us the Kumasi actors as useless and insignificant because we speak Twi, but we lifted the face of the Ghanaian movie industry.’

Sumsum is known for movies like ‘Abro ne bayie’, ‘Two Paddies’, among others.

Van Vicker

The handsome and tall actor, Joseph van Vicker aka Van Vicker submitted response towards Sunsum’s allegations.

Kumawood actor, Sunsum Ahuofe has always been on the neck of ‘Van Vicker’ after he allegedly snubbed his handshake in public.

Narrating what really happened to Delores Frimpong Manson aka Delay on the Delay Show, Sunsum revealed that he met Van Vicker in the company of other guys and out of politeness he greeted them all but Van Vicker refused to shake his palm but offered his fist instead.

In a conversation with actor Van Vicker to clarify the accusation, the actor seemed surprised and did not rush to reply.

He stated simply: ‘No Comment.’

However, it seems Van Vicker didn’t take Sunsum’s words as serious as he didn’t respond to the accusation and not trying to give Sunsum attention or better still showing his “disrespect” attitude to Sunsum as Sunsum indicated that Van Vicker did what he did for a purpose.

This is not the first time such accusations have been labeled against this actor ‘Van Vicker’ numerous accusations have been made by actors like LilWin, Kwaku Menu and many others.

The controversial Kumawood Actor has since been trending all over the internet after he incurred the wrath of Ghanaians saying in an interview that Van Vicker snubbed his handshake in public.

Sunsum however, cautioned colleagues in the English-speaking industry to be careful of the treatment meted out to their kumawood colleagues because they have sustained the movie industry to where it is today.

The actress cum Legal Practitioner, Yvonne Okyere-Whalley welcomed baby girl with white husband.

The 2015 Golden Movie Awards winner joins the list of other celebrities like Nadia Buari and quite recently, Yvonne Nelson, who kept their pregnancy a secret until after delivery.

Yvonne, who is married to Allan Whalley, delivered Scarlett in early January 2018 in the United Kingdom where the couple has been for the past 7 months.

Yvonne said the journey was not all smooth, but expressed her excitement for the arrival of her new baby.

‘MY MIRACLE, MY REASON. My story is long and the journey has been tedious but through it all He never abandoned me. She defied the odds, proved doctors wrong and, of course, stole many hearts along the way. She’s absolutely worth every pain! Beautiful people say hello to Scarlett Akua Senkyirene Whalley.’

Yvonne also celebrated her birthday recently as a new mother and shared a beautiful and intimate picture of herself and her new born on social media. Yvonne is over the moon to be celebrating her first birthday as a mother and sharing this special day with her family. According to Yvonne, being a new mother can be quite challenging but she feels lucky that her husband is a doting father, very hands-on with Scarlett and makes motherhood seem quite easy and very enjoyable.

Yvonne is also the founder of the ‘Forgotten Foundation’, an NGO that supports disabled children who are mute, deaf, vision impaired and mentally challenged in Ghana. Yvonne has confirmed that she is currently enjoying spending time with her new family and will resume work later in the year.

The rising musician, Kwesi Arthur revealed that he never had a girlfriend and amazingly his current relationship status is: ‘single.’

The rising musician, Kati G stated that she went through the right process before releasing her song.

In less than 24 hours after releasing the song featuring Reynolds The Gentleman, Highly Spiritual released a statement claiming ownership of the beat of the song.

According to them, they have owned the beat for close to two years. However, speaking in an interview with KOD on “The Zone”, Kati G stated that she paid for the beat of Gregory Ankrah at an amount of Gh¢500 and will never engage in theft.

She said Highly Spiritual has tarnished her image by tagging her as a “liar” and a “thief” and demanded an apology.

Speaking on the same show, who is a former team member of Highly Spiritual musical team, said that he accidentally sent her the beat which happens to be produced by Dat Beat God.

Titled ‘Na You’, is a song that defines all meanings and aspects of love. The captivating lyrics take one to a higher level of love. ‘Na You’, which was released today features Reynolds The Gentleman.

‘Na You’ is Kati G’s first original. Prior to this song, the former radio producer and voice over expert has released successful cover songs such as ‘You & Me’ by Joey B, and ‘Skintight’ by Mr. Eazy, Flavor’s ‘Baby You’ and Teckno’s Pana.
