Expert gospel trio, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, have uncovered that they won’t petition for the forthcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) selections.

The praised gospel bunch made up of Edna Sarpong, Monica Owusu Ansah and Cynthia Appiadu uncovered:

‘We will not file. I’m saying this on your platform. We will not file for anything. We have been there, we have been existing for 30 years and so, if they [VGMA] are celebrating their 20 years and can’t honour us […], it’s up them.’

Daughters of Glorious Jesus are right now commending 30 years in Ghanaian gospel music industry.

The Daughters of Glorious Jesus is a gospel trio from Ghana. It is comprised of Cynthia Appiadu (lead vocalist), Edna Sarpong, and Monica Owusu Ansah. Cynthia, the most youthful, composes and makes most out of the tunes of the gathering. They began as a component of the choir of the Restoration Power and Living Bread Services, at that point headed by the late Rev. Francis Akwasi Amoako in 1987. Afterward, the General Manager of the Congregation, Religious administrator Akwasi Asare Bediako, saw their potential and urged them to frame a gathering. They continued to serve through melody at different church campaigns and tradition.

Their presentation collection was Anwanwa do, discharged in 1990. From that point forward, they have won honors reliably through various collections and hit melodies. In 2003, they discharged Aseda describing their trails, tribulations and their wonderful redemption from death. A portion of their hits incorporate Mebo wo commotion daa, Edin no, Asomdwoe hene, Tumi wo mu, Fata ayeyie, Ewurade, Yesu, woye m’ade nyinaa, Aseda ben, Yeyi waye, Okasa preko, Fa wasem to Awurade anim, Momma yenben Awurade, Odomfo, Onakwafo Nyame, and so on.
