Today, On Saturday 16 of January, the one-week funeral ceremony of Isaac Kwasi Yeboah, the editor of the P&P Ghana’s newspaper, and also he was the manager of Abrantie Amakye Dede, the Ace highlife musician, is taking place in Accra at the Abrantie Spot located at Abeka Lapaz.
On January 1, Isaac Yeboah died at the spot in a terrible road accident, when he was in a car with Amakye Dede and Prince Mensah, his bodyguard and encountered in a severe car accident.
Isaac Kwasi was with Amakye Dede and his bodyguard, Prince Mensah waiting for Amakye to perform at the concert on Charismas eve, at the Paradise Resort at the Bunso junction when a sudden sprinter collided with their car and crashed into them and a terrible accident took place.
Nana Dokuaa Adobea, wife of Isaac Yeboah gets fainted after hearing death news of his beloving husband. Isaac Yeboah left behind two children and a wife, has been the Editorial Manager for Ghana’s most famous newspaper P&P from several years and also he was a regular contributor to Peace Fm’s Entertainment Review and also to many others showbiz radio programs of Ghana.
Abrantie Amakye Dede said in an interview that his manager’s death is very hurting incident, he further added that I would really remember him in my daily routine and in all activities; he is not only my manager but a true friend and a brother too. He is just irreplaceable.
Amakye Dede added that I have not only lost my manager but a brother who was very good and caring to me. It would be extremely difficult for me to forget him.
Last week, Amakye Dede discharged from the hospital. He expressed his grateful to all Ghanaians for their petitions, prayers and good wishes for his health, also to Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama, Samini and Nana Akufo Addo for visiting him in the hospital on his sick bed.
He also expressed appreciation to Osei Kwame Despite, chief executive officer of Despite Group of Companies that they make arrangements of his transfer to Korle Bu from the Osiem Hospital.
