Multiple awards winning Ghanaian actress and music writer, Felicity Ama Agyemang also known as Nana Ama Mcbrown and Empress has revealed the reasons behind her absence at the recently held Kumawood Akoben Film Festivals (KAFF) and Awards in Kumasi a weekend ago.
Nana Ama Mcbrown stated in an interview with Dave Hammer on Media News that her absence at the awards event was not intentional.
She alleged there was contradiction in the date of awards that is the main reason and led to her absence at the event grounds. “The date of KAFF awards was changed on two successive times so I didn’t know about the new date “.
Actors which are missing at the event night along with Nana Ama Mcbrown are Kwadwo Nkansah Vivian Jill, Mercy Asiedu,Lil Win, Akwasi Boadu(Akrobeto) Rose Mensah Kyeiwaa, Agya Koo, Matilda Asare, Maame Serwaa Naana Hayford Domfeh and many others at Golden Tulip Kumasi City.
Furthermore, Nana Ama Mcbrown while clarifying about her absence told Dave Hammer that, “Even I was in the Kumasi on that night when award event is going happen however I wasn’t updated about the new date by the organizers of the event, that’s why my absents at the event was not deliberate”.
