Talented musician, Iyanya Mbuk says he has learned to hide things from social media, especially his relationships.

Triple MG songster disclosed how he thinks the media can have negative effect on a person’s relationship.

In a recent interview, the “Your Waist” hitmaker said he would not miss being single after he gets married with his soulmate.

When questioned if he had any plans of tying the knot this year, he answered, “I am planning to do that but I think I would not like to tell anything to anyone regarding it.”

“I won’t miss my single life,” he added.

On revealing one’s relationship on the social media, Iyanya said, “The reality is, that once things go in the hands of media, both of us lose it. But it’s not media’s mistake because it’s your job to do so. But then again, it only puts negative effect on the relationship.

“It puts us under unnecessary pressure. It gives everyone a chance to interfere when they are not even aware of the truth about what’s happening and they don’t even have the right to make comments on it.”

“So because of social media, I’ve learned to keep my relationship private and to give people more music instead. That’s basically what they know me for in the first place. I don’t want to let other things fade the music that I’m famous for.”

“I’m making this statement from my experience,” he said, adding that “It just doesn’t make sense. If you’re famous and you make your relationship public, it never lasts.”
