The Rap Doctor, Okyeame Kwame
Ghanaian musician and song writer, Okyeame Kwame nicknamed Rap Doctor has advised self-acclaimed dancehall King, Shatta Wale to let the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2016 go him by.
On Wednesday evening while talking on Accra based radio station, the Rap Doctor, real name Kwame Nsiah Apau said that: “I think legendary artist, Shatta Wale made them come. On the off chance that you take an award somebody has given you and you closeout it on your Facebook, you send it back to them and you need to go inside once more, I think any normal association will ensure that, I mean … how might they know you are not returning for it to criticism them once more?
He said, “I really like musician, Shatta Wale. I am aware of his hustle. I think he is a motivation for every one of us however I think he ought to let the Ghana music awards thing go. He just let it pass.”
Replying to an inquiry on his most loved Ghanaian artist as of now, Okyeame Kwame said he prefers and like Shatta Wale.
“I adore Shatta Wale. I like the entire Bandana hush, makeover, the resurrection of Bandana [to] Shatta Wale as a movement. I think he is the real definition of present day marketing in music industry appropriately.”
Charter House, organizers of annual prestigious Ghana Music Awards banned the dancehall artist from the VGMAs 2016 for his comments made about the music awards of which they are demanding a conciliatory sentiment.
