Alkaline
Just when it was disclosed by the organizers of the MTN Pulse Concert that Jamaican dancehall musician Alkaline, Kranium and Elephant Man have been allocated on the show together with Ghanaian dancehall stars, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Samini, self-proclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale shared on his Snapchat that he has personally invited Alkaline for the show because he feels he’s a part of Ghanaians, which afterwards turned into something else, so people are still questioning whether it’s true that Shatta Wale is the one who billed Alkaline on the show or not.
Two days back, Shatta Wale shared on his Snapchat that he was going to the airport to pick up Alkaline with his SM convoy and they would be doing interviews together and stuff, he added that he would make Alkaline enjoy Ghana to the fullest.
Guess the shocking thing that happened? Alkaline was on Live Fm for interview, and when he was questioned that whether he has listened to any dancehall songs here in Ghana and any likely collaborations, he answered “I’ve heard some songs on radio whilst driving but I can’t figure out their names”.
When the host asked him further because at least he would have personal contact with Shatta Wale who claimed he invited him for the show, he answered, “I must admit, I don’t know any names here yet dem tunes bad still”. He disclosed.
After Alkaline’s official denial of not knowing Shatta Wale, not even hearing his name before, fans are questioning Shatta that which airport did he go to pick him up because it’s been two days, and still no photos of Shatta with him. Because Shatta Wale is known for sharing photos to show off, so the fans are still asking, did Shatta Wale really go to pick him up from the airport?
