Ghanaian Dancehall musician Stonebwoy has disclosed that he made the decision to undergo the knee surgery to give tribute to his late mother.

“It feels good to me that I have honored it to my mother, I did it just for her and if she were alive she would have said that I was stubborn because I’m sure I would never have told her that I went to Germany,” Stonebwoy said during an interview.

The ‘Go Higher’ hitmaker was caught up in a fatal accident quite a few years ago which resulted in the death of his twin brother and him limping.

Stonebwoy, known in private life as Livingstone Etse Satekla told after his successful surgery, he will start walking normally in a few months.

The 28-year-old musician revealed that he is still undergoing physiotherapy through severe pains but hopes it will go away in some time.

As stated by him, the decision to change his whole knee would not make anything different about him but instead push him on to give out his best whenever he performs on the stage.

“Absolutely everything would go fine, I am alright, at least my mother would be glad in her grave,” Stonebwoy added.
