Attah Abraham
The promising young Ghanaian actor Abraham Attah has moved to the United States of America to continue his education which will be supported by Netflix, the company who released the movie ‘Beast of No Nation.
After winning the Best Male Lead at the Independent Spirit Award a few weeks back in the United States, the media personalities suggested that 15 year old actor should be relocated to the US where it is supposed he would go a long way in his career.
Leila Djansi an American-based Ghanaian filmmaker tweeted where she stated her opinion that the young actor must be relocated to the US because Ghana has nothing reasonable to offer him.
Last week, the Vice- President Kwesi Amissah Arthur praised the award-winning actor, Abraham Attah, for making Ghana proud as a nation.
He welcomed the young actor at the FlagStaff House in Accra after his return from the US.
Actor Abraham Attah, after performing the lead role in ‘Beast of No Nation’ has also won the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at Venice Film Festival 2015, ‘Rising Star Award’ at the Black Film Critics Cirlce (BFCC).
