Ghanaian self-acclaimed dancehall artist, Shatta Wale has advised musical artists particularly to the young and upcoming ones to be modest, if they want to gain something in their life.
As indicated by him, being unassuming and having tolerance in life will take one far. This was an answer to a young dancehall artist, Chameleon who is blaming him for not fulfilling his promise and for not helping young musicians who are near him in spite of making them promises that he (Shatta Wale) will help them in their music career by featuring them.
Dancehall artist said, “This is to all artists, be modest, don’t watch individuals. A few individuals think on the off chance that I feature on their tracks; they will be hit. That was the reason in one of my single, ‘talk talk’, I made it very clear that if I feature on any of your song or I star you people on my songs will help you to get hit. It’s not that easy what you are thinking about a hit song.
He proceeded with, “Individuals ought to quit thinking like that. No, I’m not God Almighty to make you people hit in life. The opportune the truth will come eventually and you will likewise hit. But the thing is you have to be humble for achieving something big” He finished.
