In spite of the various criticizing comments and reactions against some Kumawood films concerning its content, poor quality of picture and sound, Ghanaian movie star, Bill Asamoah is deadly sure he can win Oscars when the native film producers make their works better.
According to Kumawood actor, the update will help Ghana film industry some assistance with gaining worldwide acknowledgment which will offer them some assistance with winning Oscars.
In an interview with Zionfelix.com, the Kumawood boy expressed that it is the fantasy of most of the artists to win such a prestigious honor and he is one of the numerous who eyes the Oscars.
He said, “Asking me whether I want to win an Oscar is similar to inquiring somebody as to whether he needs to go to paradise. Oscars is the fantasy of numerous artists so obviously, I really need to win that. No doubt, we are working very hard to get universal fame and recognition in order to win an Oscars one day, so hope for the best.”
He kept on praising legendary child-star artist Abraham Nii Attah who presented an award at the current year’s Oscars.
The worthy President of Ashanti Regional part of Artists Guild expressed that he is very glad for the young man for such an accomplishment at his initial phase of his profession.
