Comedian, Baba Spirit
Ghana’s most hilarious Comedian, Baba Spirit has also taken part to the call by some relatives and family members of the late commended comic actor, Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng, famously known as Bob Okala, for giving him a state burial.
Baba Spirit said while talking to Flex newspaper that Bob Okala was one of the best comic actors our country, Ghana has ever had and if all Ghanaians truly respect him and his entertainment, then there should be a state burial.
He said, “When I was youthful, I also watched comic shows by Bob Okala and took motivation from him. He has really entertained the whole nation. He has inhabited to release tension and made people to forget about their stresses. He is one of those Individuals who make you laugh and spare your life by a few microseconds. So, I must say that he deserved state burial. How about we respect individuals like these in light of the fact that they have contributed positively to the building of the country.”
When a question asked from Baba Spirit that what would be his reaction if there is no state burial given to Bob Okala? He said, “I will be extremely baffled. It would imply that our pioneers don’t consider innovative expressions individuals however just about themselves.”
