Ghanaian legendary comic actor, Bob Okala who was died on 12th of March, his final funeral rites has been slated for 6 and 7 May. Starting from 6 May they will end on 10 June, revealed by a family member of the dead one.
In a meeting with Mike 2 on radio station, Entertainment show, Seth Kwaku Nyamekye said the decision for rescheduling the state burial for Bishop Bob Okala was as a consequence of the up and coming Homowo Festival, which conflicts with the funeral of the incredible veteran comic artist.
As per him, family and the memorial service advisory committee thought that it’s a wise decision to delay the state burial occasion to give the left a befitting funeral.
Bishop Bob Okala was died at the age of 64, and will be buried on 6 May at the Osu Cemetery after the state burial ceremony, to be held at the Arts Centre in Accra.
The famous Ghanaian veteran comedian, known in real life as Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng, died after his performance on the concert at the Koforidua Jackson Park; he collapsed at stage and was immediately taken to the Koforidua Hospital and was passed away there. He was one of the amazing comedians Ghana could ever produce.
