Former Ghanaian hiplife musician turned pastor, Lord Kenya, has stated that his opinion about rap god, Sarkodie that he is not a best rapper in Ghana and is braggart has been misconstrued and is taken out of context.
The comments of Lord Kenya referring Sarkodie as a braggart went viral on all Social Medias and news. While, a section of the public including his fans conclude that musician-turned-priest throws shot at the rapper, either he is jealous of rap god or he just wants to bring hit-maker of ‘Illuminati’ down.
Lord Kenya was cited by starrfmonline.com that he has said this on Starr Chat during an interview, “You don’t turn into the great rapper only in 1 year, for becoming a best rapper it’s for quite a long time. Before we conclude that someone is the best rapper, do you estimate how long he needs to endeavor for it? Frankly speaking, what number of studio albums does he have? I want to ask that they quit gloating… he hasn’t arrived to the level that he can brag about, I refer Okyeame Kwame as the best artist since he comprehends what he is really doing.”
However, talking on radio show, Lord Kenya, conceding that Sark is a very good rapper and said his comment was an innocuous suggestion and not an immediate assault on rapper.
He said, “I don’t have anything against my fellow artist, my brother, he is doing music on his own thing yet in the event that you ask me, that what’s my opinion about what he is doing, bragging. I admit that he is a great rapper by all benchmarks yet we are people. There are a few things I may be doing that are absolutely wrong.
