Ernest Atta Aboagye, a Ghanaian Filmmaker and Manager of Ace on-screen character Agya Koo, has taken a swipe against remarks that Agya Koo did not revive Ghana film industry from its chasm.
A well-known numerous award winning Ghanaian movie Director Jackson K. Bentum a week ago shared a few realities about the beginning and possession of the Ghana Film Industry since Alexander Kofi Adu known as Agya Koo is gaining all the credit as a resurgence of Ghana Films.
Mr. Bentum, was determined that the Ghana film industry is a collective idea of many minds so any person who gain all the credit for reviving the film business is a major falsehood.
However, responding to the remark in Kumasi, Ernest Atta Aboagye said his client stays magnificent in the Ghanaian local film industry.
As indicated by him, nobody can discuss the recovery of the Ghana film industry without offering credits to Agya Koo.
Atta Aboagye told the host that, Agya Koo’s accomplishments and efforts in the film industry are unarguable.
‘In all actuality one, nobody can say for a certainty that Agya Koo’s is not a “resurrector” of the Ghana Film Industry. On the off chance that you talk of industry players who merit credit in the film industry, it is highly unlikely you can specify without my client’s name’.
Atta Aboagye demanded that he doesn’t locate with Jackson Bentum’s remark, however, he is qualified for his statement.
He said the continuous absence of his client in the Ghanaian films has intensely influenced the industry, the film industry is not flourishing any longer so far as that is concerned most of the filmmakers have put resources into different other business.
