The 3rd Accra Jazz and Highlife Festival will start on Wednesday 27 April and end on Saturday 7 May.
In this festival, many workshops and film screenings will be conducted and guests will be given the opportunity to enjoy live musical performances of many local and international artistes.

The Live in Accra festival had been established by the Alliance Française Accra. It is famous for bringing jazz masters and jazz lovers together. Every year, this festival endorses jazz and live music in the capital of Ghana.

On Wednesday 27 April, the much-admired guitarist Constant Boty will be starting the event with an awesome performance at the greatest outdoor event ever. After one day, the festival will kick off with a concert of three great highlife musicians: Ben Brako, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley and A.B. Crentsil.

International Jazz Day will be celebrated at famous +233 Jazz Bar and Grill on Saturday 30 April. Dutch jazz trumpeter Teus Nobel will join the event whereas Victor Dey will give his performance. On Monday 2 May, the film “The Miles Davis Story” will be screened.
On the same venue, a concert by keyboardist Opoku Mensah will be held on Thursday 5 May, while a jazz junk night with the Divas is planned for Friday 6 May.
On Saturday 7 May, Israeli multi-instrumentalist Tal Kravitz along with flautist Dela Botri will close the Live in Accra festival.
