Legendary actor Fred Amugi has given advice to film stars to avoid arrogance.
Refering German composer and philosopher, Ludwig van Beethoven “If you become a star don’t see yourself, as one and don’t call yourself one’, the retired civil servant confirmed that the instant stars show signs of pride it somewhat gives them a downfall.
In a recent interview, he said, “Never praise yourself rather let others admire you and your work. The instant you let pride come in your career then your downfall also starts so let humbleness and modesty guide you as a star.”
Fred Amugi’s work includes The Destiny of Lesser Animals, Beasts of No Nation, The Cursed Ones, Chronicles of Odumkrom The Headmaster, Pieces of Me, In the Eyes of My Husband, M.P. (Madam Pink), Holby City (TV Series), , Punctured Hope, Tuesday’s Child, Welcome Home, Filming Africa (Documentary) and The Other Side of the Rich.
