Ghanaian dancehall/reggae artist, Stonebwoy
BET award winning Ghanaian dacehall/reggae artist, Stonebwoy, has asked all the Ghanaians and fellow artists to support dancehall queen, Mzvee to empower her win the award in the up and coming BET Awards 2016.
A couple of days back, on Friday morning, Black Entertainment Awards 2016 (BET) announced the list of BET nominees and our stunning dancehall queen, MzVee has been nominated for the ‘Best International Act: Africa’ category.
Stonebwoy who won in that same category a year ago, beating Sarkodie and other super hit African artists, expressed his bliss for Mzvee and congratulated her for the nomination, while speaking exclusively to the host of the Entertainment survey show, last Saturday.
As this is a great achievement that, Mzvee is the only Ghanaian artist nominated during the current year’s BET awards and the first ever female artist from Ghana to be nominated at the Black Entertainment Awards 2016.
Stonebwoy who has been supposed to be a very close friend of Mzvee in the previous years additionally took to Instagram to express how he feels about her nomination
He posted the picture (below) and captioned it as:
