Kumasi, one the largest metropolitan areas in Ashantiland, Ghana has given some of the best rappers.
There are many well-known celebrities from the Garden City who performs on rap music such as Flowking Stone, Okyeame Kwame, Strongman, Ko-jo Cue, Cabum, Kunta Kinta and many more.
Even though these great musicians belong to Kumasi, Medikal, the AMG signed act stated that he has does not like any rapper from the city.
In a recent interview, the famous rapper said that none of the “Kumasi rappers” are his favourite and this is the sole reason behind his decision of not copying any artiste from Oseikrom on his “Connect” song where he had rapped exactly like Joey B, Criss Waddle, Omar Sterling, Yaa Pono, E.L, Kofi Kinaata and Sarkodie.
He hurriedly added that Ko-Jo Cue is his acquaintance but he preferred imitating only his favourite musicians on the “Connect” single.
Medikal got social media on buzz when he released his number “Connect” imitating all the highly praised rappers, Joey B, Criss Waddle, Omar Sterling, Yaa Pono, E.L, Kofi Kinaata and Sarkodie.
