Mr. Clement Amankwa
Ace Kumawood movie producer and Chief Executive Officer of Christian Movies Ghana, Mr. Clement Amankwa has revealed the major challenge which the members of Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) are facing now a day in Kumasi.
Diving profound into the problem, Clement deplored that in spite of the fact that there are numerous issues confronting the FIPAG members since the times of Idikoko, the significant one among all is the use of the English language in our meetings and interviews.
In a latest edition of Ghana Newspaper, he has stated that English is the main reason behind the inactiveness of some members.
He said, “Actually, I think that for effective meeting and interview sessions, the use of local language is very important. In this way the understanding of problem becomes easy and everybody interacts in a very comfortable way. The expression of ideas becomes easy”.
He included that many of them wind up gulping their smart thoughts since they can only express their ideas in Twi language instead of English language.
Mr Clement Amankwa has produced many movies, some of them are Wrong Attack, Homeda, Duabo, Nipa Sei Nipa, Asoreba, It is Well and many among others. He has also produced public matters TV series.
