Last Week, a Ghanaian BET award winning reggae/dancehall act, Stonebwoy rocked the stage with his thrilling performance in Kumasi. But the dancehall promoter and technical music director, Mr. Logic didn’t like it and has recently blasted Stonebwoy for accepting to perform at Vienna City.
Mr. Logic plays an important role in the music industry as he is the director of the well known Ghanaian artists, including Vybrant Faya, D’Voice, AK Songstress.
Logic took a swipe at Stonebwoy by saying, “I have been in Kumasi before, from Kiravi to Vienna City, I know how the place operates. With clubbed in Kumasi, you can’t fail. If you want to test your brand, you host a gig at an obscure place like Shatta does. If Wale says he is coming to Awoshie, the place will be packed up”.
Moreover, Mr. Logic then compared the fan base of both the artists, dancehall king, Shatta Wale’s and Stonebwoy’s, thus, concluded that Shatta Wale got a level and Stonebwoy can’t compete him when it comes to the fan base.
“I’m not biased but Stonebwoy’s fan base come nowhere close to Shatta Wale’s fan base. That’s even before Wale became a household name. Stonebwoy under no circumstance can never compare his most turn up show to Shatta Wale’s least attended show. Don’t even think about it. It won’t work”, he finished.
Watch the performance of Stonebwoy and decide for yourself if Stonebwoy did right or not.
