Popular Ghanaian media entrepreneur, TV personality and Forbes West Africa correspondent, Peace Hyde has made it to the 100 Most Influential Young Africans.

Other than her, Ghanaians who are placed among the list of Influential Young Africans are rap god, Sarkodie, investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and entrepreneur and author Sangu Delle.

The list of influential Africans was finalized by a jury, which was comprised of young African sensations across the continent. The Influential personalities are selected from 27 African countries; there are 62 men and 38 women on the list with gender equity with youthful being 14, considering the age furthest reach of 40.

Selecting 10 influential personalities across 10 different categories, the list represents the strong, inspirational living legends that are creating change in a society and are helping others to live a life with goals. They are motivational characters on whom people look upon. They have contributed much to make societies a better place to live.

87% of these influential young Africans are on social media, Facebook with a total following of approximately 18,317,458, and 86% of them are on twitter with a collective following of 16,203,116. The data was compiled in last month July 15, 2016.
