Shatta Wale
The dance-hall king, Shatta Wale revealed that he never received any invitation from Appietus on behalf of MUSIGA.
During interview the gospel musician Rev Yawson appeared in the studio to speak on behalf of MUSIGA. He said that the peace initiative mentioned Shatta Wale and Apietus has confirmed to them he sent several personal offers to him but all of his efforts wasted.
While defending himself Chop kiss hit-maker exposed such statement, ‘Appietus never called me. All he kept sending me were jokes through his social media account and not a summons.’
He sustained that he has his peace song already boarded upon his peace crusade in several regions in the country and still counting.
Earlier, The Musicians Union of Ghana organized campaign to ensure peace during period of election. For this purpose they designed a program where musicians have to submit their verified peace songs of which some will be designated for the MUSIGA Peace Album.
On other hand, such news circulated in Ghanaian media that many A-list category artists declined MUSIGA’s offer to be part of this peace enterprise. Some legendary musicians like Kojo Antwi, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale were also counted as part of such list.
