A very sad news for the Ghana Music Industry as the Musicians Union of Ghana announces the death of another renowned musician and music industry pillar, Stan Plange of Uhuru Dance Band fame.
The sad incident occurred last Thursday at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after remains in intensive care for a long time.
Stan Plange was one of the founders of MUSIGA, and remains an active member of the Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund of Musiga till his death.
He used to play in the Uhuru Dance Band and also the leader of the tour of Eastern Africa by Highlife musicians, which was organized by the late Faisal Helwani.
Stan served as a very responsible person in the management of the GBC band for many years.
