The Ghanaian celebrities are not behind in joining these networks to stay in connect with their fans, keep updating their accounts and personal blogs, which earns them awards at the 2015 Ghana Blogging and Social Media Awards, which was held on April 25, 2015 at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra.
This is the third year that the social media awards take place to honor the people in different categories.
The Best Instagram award was won by Actress Joselyn Dumas, while Best Twitter account awards go to rapper Manifest who also won the Artist with the Best Social Media presence award on the night.
The Best Youtube award was won by Kalybos, while in the politics category; President John Mahama beat Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, Hanna Tetteh and others to win Public Official with Best Social Media presence.
Vodafone Ghana was declared the Organization with the Best Social Media presence and Best Twitter.
