Most of the producers have already packed their bags and stop working on new projects, because they cannot afford to shoot a whole movie on generators, due to lack of lights, said Mercy Asiedu during an interview with Adom News’ Kwaku Adu-Kumi.

Not only her, many Ghanaian celebrities are now openly criticizing the government, including rapper Sarkodie and actresses, Yvonne Nelson and Lydia Forson have already complained and even started a campaign to end this, which according to them is affecting people lives while doing their daily work.

Yvonne Nelson claimed, “The President John Mahama is lying as usual to the Ghanaian public, while Lydia Forson has other things to say, believes that the president is acting like a school kid, who always had his answers wrong.

Alhaji Halidu Haruna, a former aide of the Chief of Staff and an NDC communication team member has responded to these ladies comments, describing them as “prostitutes” but later on apologized for his post on Facebook.

These daily base statements from the government officials have not stopped these celebrities from a launching a campaign known as #Dumsormuststop campaign and later on May 16 to practically register their displeasure.
