Clara Amoateng Benson aka Maame Serwaa
Clara Amoateng Benson aka is a popular actress, who is well-known in showbiz circle as Maame Serwaa, who is also known in the Ghana movie circles as the young lady who constantly plays the role of a young witch but she explains that she is nothing compared to what some movie lovers in Ghana identify her to be.
As she has performed with the popular actors like Kwadwo Nkansah LiWin, Agya Koo, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Rose Mensah aka Kyeiwaa, Vivian Jill, Mercy Asiedu, Bill Asamoah, Kwaku Manu and many others.
Speaking to the media, the young talented actress narrated that she is only doing a job that she loves and like it much.
Mama Serwaa further added that “ Indeed, many people think that it’s true and real that Maame Serwaa can perform the role of a witch because of the way I act as but all I can say them that it is not true.
According to her, “The movies are edited to add more to it but when it comes to actions I don’t certainly want people to judge me again on based what I have done in the movies.”
Maame Serwaa expressed that, she generally gets eyebrows being raised up at the demand of her character but when she is in public even though she occasionally tries to clarify what is the reason that, she takes such roles in the movies.
She more added, “I have people approaching me and telling me that how badly I acted my role in a movie because they dislike the role that I played whereas some love and like my acting and even encourage me to do well. “In my real life, I’m totally different from how I act in the movies so they shouldn’t judge me the based on what I have done in the movies”.
