2015 (BET) award winner Stonebwoy, who is well-known in real life as Livingstone Etse Satekla has donated a secret amount of cash to his alma mater “Tema Methodist Senior High School.
As the “Go Upper” hitmaker Stonebwoy, and present-day manager Black Cidis took upon themselves to call Stonebwoy’s alma mater Tema Day Methodist Senior High School in Accra.
Stonebwoy donation is to support final year students who’re going to embark on their WASSCE examination this year 2017.
According to Stonebwoy, I have to be through this before and I know how its impression when 1 or 2 can’t afford to pay all their dues before starting their school. “..So I decided to support 5 students who are not able to pay their school fees, so that, they can sit and give their examination and pass with the division.”
In an interview with some recipient of the scholarship: A final year student was excited for Stonebwoy’s good deed to support his education.
According to the sources, the artists not only donate cheques to the students but also given them 5 books from the best-selling author Elorm Bennie’s “Love Myelitis”.
