D Black is the multiple award winning Ghanaian musician whose birth name is Desmond Kwesi Blackmore. He is popularly known in showbiz as D Black. He is Ghana’s premier Anglophone hip hop artist. D Black is a music business manager, executive producer, marketer and movie director from Ghana.
Ghanaian hip-hop artiste D-Black, has exposed that music is not something that he does full time, but does it when he has some time for extra off his busy timetable.
He stated that he comes into the music industry by chance, since while growing up, he never well-thought-out being a musician one of his numerous goals.
He expressed with a media person that “Music is just my hobby. I never saw myself doing music. I was involuntary into the music industry by some friends who were themselves musicians. I am a businessman, an event controller and a dealer.
The Ciroc Product Representative also demanded that he cannot do rap in the ‘Twi’ language, but very speaking with the English rap.
There are subsidiary companies of D Black Avenue works that D Black is the director of namely “Black Avenue Muzikâ€, an independent Record Label and Distribution outlet and “Black Avenue TVâ€.
D Black won numerous awards and received countless award nominations.
