Gasmilla
Gasmilla ‘s hit song “Telemo” has been re-recorded with lyrics into a campaign song purportedly for NPP flag bearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo,raising questions about the musician’s political likings.
But Gasmilla, known in private life as Milla Joseph Odartey Lamptey. He has expressed that about Adom News, he has no idea who stole his tune and put NPP campaign lyrics on it.
He supposed that his organization will take authorized action beside anyone who uses his tune for other causes without his awareness.
Adom News stretched Gasmilla’s Manager, Esther Konadu Gyan. She confirmed that no one has given authorization to use the song, and declared to take legal action against the committer(s).
She further narrated that if we find out the person who is related to any political party we will try to find the assistance of that party to get to the person and make sure that he faces the full strictness of the law.
For now, the National Organizer of the NPP, John Boadu states that the party has nothing to do with the conversion of Gasmilla’s “Telemo” into an NPP campaign song.
He declares that if we select to use Gasmilla’s song for the 2016 election, we will use the accurate channels and make a proper declaration.
