Ghana’s Ambassador Dr. Kodzo K. Alabo strange and Authoritative to the Russian Federation and Nation of Independent States (CIS) will open one-week long improving art exhibition, a group of artworks by six famous Ghanaian artists, inside the main building of International Gymnasium in Moscow on September 16, 2015,
The exhibition is planned by the Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in combination with the Moscow Municipal Administration, the United Russia (All-Russian Political Party) and House of Africa, intentions at encouraging Ghanaian culture and producing community consciousness about the country as well as firming people-to-people companionship.
Some of the events lined up as part of the week-long programme consist of master classes and traditional musical shows.
The relief further scheduled high-powered representatives as invited guests, staff of the Municipal Administration and the Moscow International Gymnasium and the traditional community.
Officers with Anton Zharkov from the State Duma (Lower House of Parliament), Alexander Smetanov and Andrei Metelisky together from the Municipal Assembly (Regional Parliament) as well as Ghanaian artist Kofi Agorso are estimated to give speeches at the opening ceremony.
DJ Sofi from the Republic of Congo will also suggestion the gathering traditional music and songs.
According to the actors’ biographies, they have toured throughout Africa and the world.
They have been at the front position of Ghana’s art scene, working ceaselessly and with energy to improve the art culture, for some years.
Larry Otoo, on behalf of his coworkers, has stated that high gratitude for the assistance by the ambassador and his staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Ghana by winning them to showcase their paintings and artifacts cooperatively to Government offices, art lovers and general visitors in Moscow.
“We are actually thrilled that the Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in Moscow has obtained this support to showcase our artworks and support Ghanaian culture to a cross-section of the Russian public,” Larry Otoo supposed in comments by email.
On the inventiveness of the Ghana’s Ambassador Dr. Alabo, the first art exhibition of six famous Ghanaian artists, between them Wiz Kudorwor, Kofi Agorso and Larry Otoo, was fixed in Moscow and Saint Petersburg last June.
It was a portion of the African Cultural Festival (AfroFest2015) that delivered a platform for some of the festival fascinations such as unusual food shows, old-style arts and crafts exhibition, high-class fashion collections, cultural workshops and master classes as well as the film shows.
Some of the African countries signified at that festival contained Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Mauritius, Madagascar, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
