Dancehall With friends
Dancehall, which is also known the crown as the Queen of Dancehall. She has won Best female musician (GH) Citi People Awards Nigeria 2015, Most popular Song “Superstars Reality Show” and her team winning the “Best Management” Award.
She has also won Discovery of the Year Bass Awards 2014. Now she is going to Queen of Reggae Africa.
She is busy with releasing Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, etc kind of classic reggae songs every month for a whole year alongside her dancehall tunes. As a matter of fact, she’s is releasing the first one titled “Here I Am” on 31 October, 2015. If her classic reggae tune “True Love” is anything to go by, then we are in for Classics.
She has described that, “I will use this opportunity to uncover a cemented fact about Ak Songstress. Ak mean Dancehall and Songstress means Reggae. This authenticates the fact that she is a complete reggae, dancehall artiste.”
AK has described that, her inspiration comes from Lucky Dube, which means music lovers should be expecting elements of inspiration, love, life, positivity just to mention a few in her new Reggae songs she will be released.
Watch out for the date of her first live Reggae Concert with her band.
On the other hand, she promulgated early this month that she will be opening a her new nightclub called Hortical (reggae dancehall ) Nightclub, opening 20th November 2015.
