Shatta Wale (formerly Bandana), is a Ghanaian born producer and reggae-dancehall musician. He is best known for his biggest breakthrough hit song Dancehall King which led to him winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Ghana Music Awards.
The award winning dancehall aritste who is currently in the States as part of his world tour took to his twitter page to disseminate the news.
He has posted on the twitter page that, ”My wife just bought a car for me as my birthday gift…????????..Shatta Michy you are the best?????????????????????? ”
As part of his birthday gift, the self acclaimed dancehall king now joins the elite league of Ghanaian celebrities, mostly who have their accounts verified on social media.
His verification is a sign of approval and a confirmation of his celebrity status. It also wades off any chance of people creating parody Facebook pages in his name for whatever reason.
