The self-proclaimed dancehall champion, Shatta Wale has stated that the Nigerian artists know very well that he is extremely talented and business minded artist of Ghana.

He appeared in an interview and clarified that he is nevertheless threatened nor scared by the Nigerian entertainment artists. Further he added that most of Nigerian artistes respect him a lot.

He gave best plan to make Ghanaian music industry number one in Africa. According to him, there is an urgent need for musicians in Ghana to be united. He said he is resilient and ready to fight for the Ghanaian music industry to gain recognition in Africa and the world.

He also invited few legendary artists to follow his plan. He mentioned the names of artists as:

‘I spoke to a couple of colleagues including Obrafuour, KK Fosu, Tinny, Samini, Sarkodie to promote the Ghanaian music brand.’

Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., known by his stage name Shatta Wale (formerly Bandana), is a Ghanaian born reggae-dancehall musician. Shatta Wale changed his name to “Bandana” after senior high school and released the hit track Bandana from Ghana. Besides of all criticism he succeeded to rule the hearts.

The nightingale of Ghanaian music world, Mzbel stated that the dance-hall musician, Shatta Wale made the year 2016 memorable for her.

‘Honestly I’ll say the only musician who rocked me was Shatta Wale, but unfortunately he wasn’t nominated in this year’s VGMA.’

She openly declared that besides of award nomination case. Shatta Wale was the only artist dominated in 2016 with several hits.

The controversial musician, Mzbel confessed that she bleached her skin from very young age.

According to her, she started all this stuff from her teenage. The host of host show questioned that what is her views about bleaching skin either it’s good or not.

She delivered simple and reasonable answer that bleaching skin is not good and if someone doesn’t follow the right procedure the person will end up having cancer. Few of her words are mention as below:

‘I grew up in Jamestown where, at a certain age, if you don’t bleach your skin you don’t know what’s up. It was like a trend and once your face is bright, it’s OK. So I have tried skin bleaching because then, that was the thing there and all my life I grew up in Jamestown until I was done with high school.’

Further she added that when she finally became a celebrity and she saw the disadvantages of bleaching skin. She started preaching against it, but unfortunately when the person stops bleaching. The side effects of bleaching start appearing on skin.

She said the person have to use right products to handle the damage even for life time. In the end of her interview she added that whenever she gets opportunity to visit Jamestown. She always does campaign against teenage pregnancy and skin bleaching and she place herself as an example.
