Gifty Anti with her husband
Oheneyere Gifty Anti, The Host of Standpoint program, has said that she never thought about marriage and that she is going to be a wife.
Oheneyere Anti, who told she likes her royal marriage with Nana Ansah Kwao, said she’s learning the rules of marriage.
According to her, marriage bad never been a part of her life goals.
“He knows that I’ve been single for quite some time now, I’m an independent, a very determined woman, I’ve never thought about marriage, he respects that I accepted his marriage proposal, I love him a lot, and was prepared to it because marriage was not on in my life plans, so I’m learning, he was married before so he is taking his time,” she told.
She further revealed that she never thought about marriage.
“I never thought of marriage, it wasn’t a big deal for me, I never prayed to God for a husband, I always asked that if he’s not good for me then take him away, my prayer was that,” she said.
“It’s not fine, people should never pray such a prayer,” she encouraged.
She recommended that one should not allow others to define their lives, citing that Mzve’s song ‘Natural Girl’ inspires her.
“As a single woman you should not think bad about yourself, you shouldn’t let anyone define who you are, I like ‘Natural Girl’ by Mzve”
She showed satisfaction that her husband gave her the royal wedding because of the position she has made for herself in all these years.
By the grace of Lord, my husband gave me the royal wedding because I’m Gifty Anti,” she pointed out.
Asked if it was her intelligence that made her attractive to him, she said “you know God works in cryptic ways, I have said many times that I was not going to change my name Gifty Anti at any cost, and he respected that,” she stated.
As stated by her, they accept and understand their different backgrounds.
“Both of us understand that we hail from different backgrounds, we both are strong personalities, we understand when to let go and when to fight, he wins all the fights,” she intimated.
