Tagoe Sisters

Veteran Ghanaian Gospel duo Tagoe Sisters has refused the reports indicating that they are blaming fellow acts Daughters of Glorious Jesus of intellectual property theft.

In a recent interview, the honored twin sisters negated this gossip and said that they have been misreported.

As per last week’s reports, the twins were declaring to be the owners of famous song “Enne Manya Anigye” which is associated with Daughters of Glorious Jesus.

Describing about how they had been misquoted, the duo said that they had been asked a particular question of why many gospel musicians lack content to which they replied that this condition occurred due to lack of appreciation of the great song writers.

They mentioned that many of the old gospel songs were written by great song writers and are an example of the song in question.

“We recalled Ghanaian songs and noticed that the song which had been written by Advent Herald and which we were to use, had been already used by Daughters of Glorious Jesus.

“We did not show strong annoyance because it was for the great work of God.”

“This is exactly what we stated, which had been misrepresented.”
